ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- Albuquerque Fire Rescue have rescued two people from arroyos following a swift water rescue Saturday evening.

A spokesperson with AFR initially reported three people were seen in the arroyo channels, but has since clarified there were only two people. AFR and the Bernalillo County Fire Department successfully rescued both people.

One person was pulled out at The Box near Four Hills. The other was rescued at the North Division Channel at Menaul.

AFR says both victims survived and were exhausted, bruised, and had hypothermia. They were both transported to the hospital.
